These competencies are required for executive level candidates. People being considered for these critical roles need to spend more of their time in inspiring and influencing activities rather than specific assignment related direction. In order to do this, these candidates need to demonstrate that they are trusted and trustworthy. That they are able to relate specific stories that reinforce adherence or alignment with organizational goals, mission, and values. They need to have demonstrated that they have developed a deep knowledge of the business goals and objectives in their previous roles and have demonstrated that they have emotional control and a strong belief in their courses of action, without being arrogant. They must have business acumen, empathy and ability to deliver on commitments, while developing their teams.
