Core Competency

These are personal competencies that individuals have learned or developed through their previous experience.  They are focused on how a person has learned to adapt, acquire and quickly integrate job related knowledge, recognize the need to take action or take advantage of opportunities when appropriate, become adept at two way communication (understanding as well as being understood), be diligent, attending to details, and respond productively to adversity without letting setbacks overwhelm them).
